Candy is a beloved treat enjoyed by people of all ages. However, for those who are following a low-carb diet, indulging in candy can be a challenge. Luckily, there are now plenty of options for low-carb candy that can satisfy your sweet tooth without sabotaging your diet.
I tested and researched various low carb candy options to identify the best ones on the market. From chocolate caramel to gummies, I tried them all to find the best low carb candy out there.
My Best Low Carb Candy
Pro's:
✅ Best Tasting I tried
✅ Over 5k 5-star ratings
✅ Good Texture
✅ Perfect for Satisfying Candy Cravings
Con's:
❌ Bit Pricey, like most of the Keto/Low Carb Alternatives
I recently tried Kiss My Keto Gummies Candy and experienced that the gummies were extremely soft and chewy, and the different flavors were all naturally flavored and tasted great.
I also appreciated that these gummies were low in carbs and calories, making them a guilt-free snack I could enjoy without ruining my diet.
They are a great snack to have on hand when you’re craving something sweet, and they won’t sabotage your diet.
2. Tom & Jenny’s Low Carb Soft Caramel Candy with Chocolate and Sea Salt
Pro's
✅ Buttery Caramel and Choc melts in your Mouth
✅ Taste Amazing like regular Caramel
✅ Don't bother your Teeths
Con's
❌ Soft Texture is not for everyone
This one is for the chocolate lovers. I am too, but due to the typical stickiness to the teeth, the soft caramel candies only made it to second place.
These caramels are sweetened with natural plant-derived maltitol and non-GMO xylitol, making them keto-friendly and gluten-free. Plus, they’re dentist-approved with sweeteners that reduce acidity and your risk of cavities and tooth decay!
I couldn’t even tell that they were sugar-free! The chocolate and sea salt added a nice flavor that made them even more enjoyable.
One thing to note is that the wrapper can be a bit of a pain to remove since the candy sticks to it.
Tip: Put the Candy in the refrigerator. The candy hardens and it gets easier to remove it from the wrapper.
3. Atkins Endulge Low Carb Peanut Butter Candies
Pro's:
✅ Perfect Combination of Peanut Butter and Chocolate
✅ Individually wrapped for the treat on the go
✅ Amazing Flavour
Con's:
❌ Some people experienced gastrointestinal distress
These candies are packed with peanut butter flavor and have only 2g of net carbs and 2g of sugar per serving, making them a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without derailing your low-carb lifestyle.
As I recently tried this, I found that the peanut butter filling is creamy and satisfying. I like that the candies come in individually wrapped packs, which makes them perfect for throwing in your bag for a quick snack on the go.
One downside I red in the reviews is, that it can lead to gastrointestinal distress. But I didn’t experience that on my own.
ChocZero Sugar Free Caramels – Keto Caramel Candy
Pro's:
✅ Delicious with great Texture
✅ Best value for Money
Con's:
❌ Not as Low Calorie like other competitors
If you’re looking for a delicious low carb candy, ChocZero’s sugar-free caramels are a must-try!
I recently tried ChocZero’s sugar-free caramels and was blown away by their delicious taste. The caramels are soft, chewy, and have the perfect balance of sweetness.
Not only are these caramels great for snacking, but they’re also versatile and can be used in baking or melted down to make a delicious salted caramel sauce. I’ve used them in keto-friendly recipes, and they’ve always turned out amazing.
Shameless Snacks – Low Carb Keto Gummies
Pro's:
✅ Taste and Feel like really Gummies
✅ Various Flavors available
Con's:
❌ Some experienced problems with digestive tract
I recently tried the Super Variety Pack, which includes watermelon, peach, cherry, green apple, red raspberry, and blue raspberry flavors. I was pleasantly surprised by how good they tasted. The flavors were reminiscent of classic candy but without all the sugar and calories.
However, I think they’re a bit on the pricey side for a healthier snack option. Additionally, some people experienced problems with their digestive tract after consuming the gummies. But, as with the ChocZero Caramels, I couldn’t experience such problems by myself.
